Dr. M. K. Ajwani M.S.,D.C.E.H. (London)

The Phaco, Lasik & Glaucoma Training & Workshop is conducted by our Associate Dr. M. K. Ajwani, having vast teaching and surgical experience of more than 30 years in Phaco, Lasik & Glaucoma. He is one of the pioneers of phaco & laser vision correction in India.  He has treated over 10,000 Eyes for Lasik and more than 30,000 for Phaco, and pioneered several laser vision correction procedures in India, including LASIK, Topolink LASIK, Wave front Guided LASIK and LASEK.  For Lasik his facility has the latest US FDA approved Zyoptix 100 Eximer Laser Machine & Zyoptix XP Microkeratome from Bausch & Lomb. For Phaco there are four Machines, i.e. Stroz, B & L Stellaris & Millennium Phaco Machines. All training programs are conducted by him on personalized and on one to one basis.

Retina Hospital - Laser & Research Centre, Rajkot

Vitre-Retinal Surgery Training Programs are conducted by our Associate Faculty, Dr. Mukesh Porwal. He has more than 12 years of exclusive work experience in the demanding specialty field of Retina, involving a wide range of clinical scenarios. His Areas of special clinical interest are Complex Vitreo-Retinal diseases, Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy, management of Endophthalmitis, Anterior segment reconstruction & Low vision aids. He is interested in using his personal experience to train & teach young eye surgeons hands-on, in the demanding field of Vitreo-Retinal surgery. He has trained many ophthalmologists from India & abroad.

Dr. Mehul Shah M.S. & Dr. Shreya Shah M.S.

Medical Director, Drashti Netralaya, Dahod.

Our Associates, Dr. Mehul Shah & Dr. Shreya Shah, at Dahod (150 KM from Vadodara), are pioneering and leading Surgeons in SICS, Phaco, Glaucoma, Laser DCR, Vitre-Retinal (Medical & Surgical), Oculoplasty, Ped. Opthalmology & Strabismus. They have vast teaching and surgical experience of more than 20 years in Phaco, SICS, Glaucoma, Laser DCR and other surgeries.  They along with their team operate around 70 - 80 Cataract, SICS, Phaco cases per day and have treated more than 50,000 patients for cataract besides conducting regular workshops & training programs. They can offer about 15 - 25 Phaco procedures per day, depending on a trainees' surgical skills and experience. They have trained more than 100 doctors from India and abroad.

Sankheda, Vadodara  ( Around 65 KM from Vadodara) and Shri Ravi Shankar Maharaj Eye Hospital, Chikhodra, Anand.  Dr. Shah is also a very senior Surgeon with vast surgical & teaching experience of more than 10 years & over 15,000 surgeries to his credit. He conducts Intensive Phaco Training Workshops regularly.

Dr. Yogesh Kapoor is a leading Phaco & Laser Expert and Ophthalmologist with more than 15 years experience over + 12,000 surgeries ( Lasik & Phaco ) to his creditover + 12,000 surgeries ( Lasik & Phaco ) to his credit and over 12,000 surgeries ( Lasik & Phaco ) to his credit. He has received specialised training in Zyoptix technology at Bausch & Lomb.
